NOVASBIO Screw Cap Tubes are ideal for use in a wide range of laboratory applications. These include collection, processing, centrifugation, long-term storage and packaging/shipping of valuable biological materials.

They are available in 3x volume sizes, with either conical bottoms or self-standing skirts, and with 5 colours of caps (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White) plus clear as standard, and Brown for light blocking Amber Tubes, on request. In supported rotors, the threaded ‘O’ ring design make them suitable for high speed centrifugation up to 20,000 x g and can be stored at extreme temperatures ranging from -195°C (LN2 vapour phase) to +121°C. The Tube design incorporates ribs which facilitate single-handed operation, even with gloves. The Caps have a syringe port which is easily pierced for radioisotope labelling and fraction collecting. Ribs are designed to facilitate single-handed opening and closing, even with gloves on.

NOVASBIO screw cap microtubes are supplied as standard as a combined product (SCT-), with Tubes and Caps packed together. For the Non-Sterile option, Tubes and Caps are packed individually but are Un-Assembled.

If required pre-sterilised (-S), Tubes and Caps are Assembled and packed in convenient bags of 100. NOVASBIO screw cap microtubes are also available separately as Tubes (ST-) and Caps (SC-). These are Un-Assembled, packed separately, and Non-Sterile.
